Specialists in LED and lighting control solutions, PixNet Control, have launched the PixNet 4 Digital LED Pixel Controller to enable even greater creative capabilities within visual display installations.

PixNet Control products are used by AV (Audio-Visual) installers to create complex lighting for venues and events. The LED lighting control specialists say that the PixNet 4 takes this a step further by providing even more advanced capabilities.

“AV specialists installing lighting for events, festivals, nightclubs, gyms and attractions want to create the ideal spectacle and ambience within their displays. With our new PixNet 4 device, they get even greater control of LED lighting displays, giving you the power to create breathtaking effects with ease” says Alan Reeves, CEO of PixNet Control.

Designed and assembled in the UK, the PixNet 4 uses the latest generation of processors. It allows a single device to control multiple LED lights, including their brightness and colour, to create stunning displays, animations and visual effects.

Offering Art-Net and sACN options for versatile applications, the PixNet 4 streams data to your devices and can be used across many different protocol digital pixels and DMX systems (Digital Multiplexes).

Similar to other products produced by PixNet Control, PixNet 4 uses a PoE (Power over Ethernet) system to power the device in live applications, testing and setup.

“The web-based user interface built in the new PixNet 4 offers seamless configuration to make programming simpler. Features like pixel grouping allow multiple pixels to share a single DMX address, while custom port mirroring for universes and per-output RGB configuration all add class-leading flexibility” adds Alan.

The multi-protocol pixel controller is tested to UKCA and CE levels for quality assurance. It offers up to eight 1024 RGB LED pixel outputs, pixel merging/repeat and an easy-to-use web configuration.
